Instructor Training in Professional Level Scuba Diving

SCUBA Diving is a great life style, fun and rewarding profession. Choosing to be a professional dive instructor is the first step and choosing Dive Career Centre is a great way to get you prepared for a real career. The professional levels start with Dive Guide this is a 2 week course and it prepares you for leading certified divers on dives. The next step is Science of diving. In this course you will gain knowledge on physic and physiology, medical problems as well as knowledge on water environments. Dive Control specialist start you teaching classroom and pool skills to new divers. The open water instructor teach you to teach and train in the open water. There is Advance open water instructor and Dive controls Specialist instructor as well. Your trainers have over 20 years of experience to guide you down your career path.

All courses are all designed so you can learn the academics at your own pace when it is convenient for you. Once you have completed your theory and pool sessions at our unique Rain forest Training Facility you will get to experience the Great Barrier Reef as you complete your open water training dives.

Boat Diving: How to chose the right boat for your diving needs, familiarizes you with boat terminology, regulations, safety and fun diving from boats.

Navigation: Knowledge about the compass, natural navigation, compass courses, improving your general sense of direction giving you confidence and enhancing your diving experiences

Search and Recovery: Be able to plan recovery operations, what equipment is needed, use different search patterns to find small to large objects and how to lift them to the surface.

Night/Limited visibility: Learn about additional equipment and safety procedures needed for night or limited visibility diving.

Deep Diving: Gain knowledge and experience on procedures of deep diving. Witness the effects of diving to deeper depths, such as pressure change, colour absorption, nitrogen narcosis, air consumption and plan deep dives. 4 Dives required.

Equipment Diving: Become more familiar with your equipment, learn how to maintain and take care of your life support unit, how to choose the correct equipment for the type of diving you will be doing.

Enriched Air Nitrox: If your interested in longer bottom times and shorter surfaces interval, than EAN32 is for you. In Nitrox you learn how to blend the gasses of oxygen and nitrogen to a different mix than in air dives. This course is a prerequisite for Poseidon MK IV rebreather course.

Stress & Rescue: is a great course to gain life saving skills while enhancing diving skills. Most people find it the most valuable course they have take in diving career. It is designed gain invaluable knowledge in areas of recognizing signs and symptom of diving accidents. This course takes 4 to 5 days. You must have a first aid certificate in completion of this course the fifth day would be first aid if you don’t already have it.
